Do you have a mobile telephone lying around that you no longer use?
If the answer is "yes" then you could help Life Education Centres Dorset to raise thousands of pounds!
If mobile telephones are dumped in the bin at your place of work (or at home) this office 'trash' can be turned into 'cash' for Life Education Centres Dorset.
Life Education Centres Dorset has teamed up with a leading Bournemouth based recycling company
Atv Mobile Phones who will make a cash donation to the Life Education Centres Dorset for every old mobile phone, that is collected for Life Education Centres Dorset.
Four good reasons to donate your old mobile phone to the Life Education Centres Dorset recycling scheme:
1) Mobiles contain cadmium, which is a highly dangerous and toxic substance which, if dumped in landfill sites, will leech into the soil.
2) Many of the donated telephones are sent to developing countries where there are no comprehensive landline infrastructures and mobile phones are the only way of communicating over distance.
3) The scheme costs the Charity nothing - the recycling company bears all the costs.
4) For every mobile phone the recycling company will donate between £1 and £15 to Life Education Centres Dorset.
If you have less than twenty items to donate you can deliver or post them direct to the recycling company (address below). If you have a large amount please contact the recycling company
online here or call 01202 773000 to arrange free collection.
