Life Education Centres Dorset has teamed up with a leading Bournemouth based recycling company Atv Mobile Phones who will make a cash donation to the Life Education Centres Dorset for every old mobile phone, that is collected for Life Education Centres Dorset.

1) Mobiles contain cadmium, which is a highly dangerous and toxic substance which, if dumped in landfill sites, will leech into the soil.
2) Many of the donated telephones are sent to developing countries where there are no comprehensive landline infrastructures and mobile phones are the only way of communicating over distance.
3) The scheme costs the Charity nothing - the recycling company bears all the costs.
4) For every mobile phone the recycling company will donate between £1 and £15 to Life Education Centres Dorset.
